Nevins, Jess. The Encyclopedia of Fantastic Victoriana. Austin, TX: Monkeybrain Books, pp. ISBN: $ Hardcover. Jess Nevins' The Encyclopedia of Fantastic Victoriana has received cover endorsements from such heavyweights in the fantastic media and studies com-munities as Alan Moore and John Clute. MonkeyBrain Books published my The Encyclopedia of Fantastic Victoriana. It sold well–sold out, through its print run–and has since become a collector’s item. (Seriously, look at the prices!) Unfortunately, the book is too big, and the production costs too much, to make reprinting the book worthwhile for publishers.
